The bio-fluid acts in two stages:
- Firstly, the bacteria produce the Lipase enzyme, which breaks molecules apart, freeing fatty acid chains.
- These weaker fatty acid chains are then broken down into an irreversible form and finally get washed away harmlessly down the pipework.
